Mitrovdan brings together people, customs and domestic products in the heart of Azbukovica.
The Mitrovdan fair in Ljubovija has deep roots. It used to be an opportunity for the locals to buy everything they needed for the winter, in time when there were almost no shops. Today it is much more - it is a day of gathering, meeting and remembering old customs. This fair, as part of the intangible cultural heritage of the municipality of Ljubovija, continues to live and bear witness to the richness of the Serbian tradition, with the desire that the spirit of togetherness and warmth continue in the years to come.
As part of the fair, the Azbukovica bazaar is also held, an event that is proudly organized by the Tourism Organization of the Municipality of Ljubovija.
The aim of Azbukovica bazaar is to bring together producers of domestic and traditional products, keepers of authentic recipes and crafts in one place.
