In addition to the Drina, the peaks of Bobija, the Trešnjica canyon, numerous monasteries and churches, tourists had more reason to come to Ljubovija on Saturday, where the 14th Gastro Festival took place. More than 50 teams competed in different disciplines of food preparation, and a jury of professional chefs had the task of announcing the winners.
In addition to the competition part, the Gastro Festival was accompanied by a cultural and artistic program. The event was opened with a performance by children from the "Poletarac" preschool. then KUD "Azbukovica" from Ljubovija and KUD "Most" from Bratunac. The special attention of the youngest audience was focused on the animators of the "UV Dance" group.
The spirit of tradition was completed by the exhibition of old-timers - FIĆA. These cars, which marked an era of the former state, nostalgically attracted the attention of older visitors, but also younger generations, because "fica" is rarely seen on our roads today.
All participants received certificates of appreciation and gifts from the Tourism Organization of the Municipality of Ljubovija, and the best were awarded by the President of the Municipality of Ljubovija, Milan Jovanović. The most successful competitors also received gifts from the sponsor of the Gastro festival - "Metalac", Gornji Milanovac.
At this years Gastro Festival, the world champions in this discipline took part in the fish soup preparation competition, who, as expected and justified, won the first places.

Baking discipline:
1st place – Slavenka Drčelić, Priboj;
2nd place – Association of Women "Svjetlost", Ugljevik;
3rd place – Womens Association "Vila", Ljubovija.
Pastry discipline:
1st place - Womens association "Zlatne ruke Resave", Despotovac;
2nd place - Womens Association "Lepota Levča", Rekovac.
Disciplina goulash:
