On Saturday, July 8, the 22nd Drina regatta will be held in Ljubovija. The waterway is 40 kilometers long from Rogačica to Ljubovija and 8 hours of sailing. The joyful descent on the water will be preceded by the multi-day event "Days of the Drina Regatta" with rich entertainment, sports, cultural and musical contents.
The descent down the Drina will begin at 10 a.m. in Rogačica, a break is planned in the middle of the waterway, in Gornja Trešnjica, where military beans will be prepared for the participants.
The program of the "Days of the Drina Regatta" event will begin on June 26 with a series of sports competitions in football, volleyball, chess, table tennis and basketball, and the organizer of these tournaments is the Sports Association municipality of Ljubovija. The program of sports competitions will end on July 9 with a hiking trip organized by the Mountaineering Club "Tornička Bobija".
In addition to sports, a rich entertainment program is also planned. On Wednesday, July 5, Dženan Lončarević will perform at the auxiliary field of FC "Drina", on July 6, the audience will be entertained by Tea Tairović, and in Friday, July 7, Jelena Rozga. On Saturday evening, after the Drina descent, the concert will be held by NUCCI and ZERA.
As part of the cultural events for the Drina Regatta event in Ljubovija, on July 6, in the cinema hall of Ljubovija, the audience will have the opportunity to watch the play "Đurologiјa" performed by the famous actor Branko Đurić-Đura.
The tourist organization of the municipality of Ljubovija made an effort to prepare a suitable program for children. With the performance of the group of animators UV DANCE, the youngest audience will have a "Childrens Night" scheduled for July 5.
